This is one of our patients favourite treatments, its quick, simple and relaxing!

LED phototherapy is a non-surgical, non-invasive treatment which accelerates skin rejuvenation and cell repair. As a result of ageing, sun damage or skin conditions (such as Psoriasis, Eczema and Dermatitis) cell renewal slows down becomes impaired and healthy cells are unable to renew themselves normally. LED phototherapy recharges and energises skin cells to aid healing and rejuvenate faster using a combination of lights. The treatment is pain-free, safe and suitable for all skin types.

Red light – rejuvenates the skin by improving its structure, increases collagen and elastin production thus leading to firmer skin, a clearer complexion and improves overall skin health.
Blue light – significantly reduces the P acnes bacteria which pre disposes to acne, reducing the appearance of spots and helping to prevent further break outs. It is ideal for teenagers and may be considered as an alternative to antibiotics.
Infrared light – reduces pigmentation and helps heal the skin, also reducing inflammation and pain associated with skin conditions.
All 3 wavelengths can be delivered concurrently to stimulate all cellular levels and target multiple concerns.
Who is suitable?
This treatment is suitable for all skin types and aims help skin concerns including; photo ageing, fine lines, wrinkles, acne, pigmentation and rosacea. It can also be used after treatments such as Microdermabrasion, chemical peels and micro-needling to help augment the treatment improve the associated downtime.
Duration
The treatment will last 20 minutes, a course of 6-8 is required for maximum results, although even after just one treatment the skin is visually more hydrated and calmed. Prior to treatment a skin assessment will take place and expectations discussed. Skin should be clean and make up free which allows for best light penetration.
After the treatment
There is no down time after a LED phototherapy treatment; the skin may appear to have a slight erythema (redness to the skin) but this will settle the same day. You can go back to your normal day to day activates straight after, wearing SFP 50 sunblock.  LED Phototherapy
