Silhouette Soft™ is a fantastic new treatment which lifts and re-defines the facial features, to give a natural, rejuvenated appearance. This is the latest generation thread-lifting procedure loved by celebrities. Also known as the ‘one-stitch facelift’ or ‘puppet lift’, it is revolutionising facial aesthetics. Mr Banwell is one of the few Plastic Surgeons in the country to perform this procedure and he is a great advocate of the technique in the right patient.
The minimally-invasive procedure involves using invisible biodegradable thread to tighten and elevate the skin. There are no incisions, no recovery time and the results are immediate.
The thread used contains fully safe and absorbable polylactic acid, which has the added benefit of stimulating collagen production and cell renewal deep within the skin.
This is a great treatment to remedy the early signs of ageing, such as nose to mouth lines, loss of cheek definition and sagging jawline/jowls.

You will first have a consultation with one of our experienced team, to ask any questions and assess your suitability for this treatment.
You will be given a local anaesthetic to numb the skin. Your practitioner will then begin to lift and tighten the facial skin in the areas required, using invisible, dissolving sutures.
There are no incisions. Instead a fine needle will be inserted about 3-5 mm under the skin and progressed in the direction required. The number of threads used will depend on the extent of the lift desired and the number of facial regions being treated.
It will take approximately 45-90 minutes.
The results of Silhouette Soft are very natural and immediate. Your face will appear refreshed, with volume restored to the areas where it is needed.
Because the threads used simultaneously promote collagen production within the skin, you may notice that the anti-ageing results continue to improve over the following weeks/months.
